Country Lights Ministry began in 2007 as a vibrant dance crew and singing group in Uganda, dedicated to pop rhythms and country music melodies.

What started as a humble artistic endeavour has grown, by God’s divine favour and grace, into a profound mission transforming lives across the nation.

In 2010, we embarked on a transformative path. We established a children’s ministry where young hearts and talents are nurtured, and where education and spirituality intertwine seamlessly.

Today, Country Lights Ministry stands as a registered non-profit organisation (No. 10347), wholly dedicated to inspiring, rescuing and empowering vulnerable children and youth throughout Uganda.

Our multifaceted approach combines life skills, educational opportunities and talent development to shape futures and build communities.

As Country Lights is a Christian non-governmental organisation, evangelism is also carried out in these outreaches and many young people have given their lives to Christ.

School Outreach Department

During these outreaches, Country Lights Clubs are established in various schools with the purpose of talent development and life skills empowerment.

The School Outreach Department focuses on young people in high schools and colleges in Uganda. It reaches out to youth with the purpose of capacity building, youth empowerment and awareness on HIV/AIDS. These are done through workshops, debates, seminars and conferences.
