  • Country Lights Church Tours

Country Lights take evangelism so critical because it’s one way of winning souls to Christ. The evangelism team of Country Lights Uganda extends the good news of our lord Jesus Christ to non- believers with the purpose of wining lost souls to Christ.  This is done through preaching the gospel, availing food to the poor, visiting the prisoners, visiting the sick and praying for the heart broken. Our point of areas include; Street evangelism, Prison evangelism, School and College evangelism, Community Door to door Evangelism and Rural Evangelism. Country lights Uganda base on this on three points.

    • It’s a command

Evangelism is not option but a mandate to all believers, Jesus commanded his disciples to fulfill this. Mathew 268:16-20

16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

18 And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

    Prison Evangelism

    • Evangelism is a life style

Country Lights team copy the example of Apostle Paul life style of ministry. The team demonstrates this in there way of living i.e. wherever they go, they make Jesus Famous through various activities including preaching the gospel

Apostle Paul lived a life style of Evangelism. He considered nothing but only preaching the good news of our lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:21” For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain”.

    Evangelism involves Self Denial.

Country Lights Uganda has denied its self through maximum involving in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. This has been done through reaching out in remote areas with the purpose of wining souls to Christ and helping vulnerable people.

    Hospital Evangelism

Country lights team utilizes there time when they are still living on earth to do work of God. They risk their lives through reaching out in Muslim communities to preach them good news John 9:4“ I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”.

  • Country Lights School Ministry Programmes

The School Ministry Outreach Department department focuses on the young people in high schools and colleges in Uganda. It reaches out to youth with the purpose capacity building, youth empowerment and Awareness on HIV/AIDS. These are done through workshops, Debates, Seminars, Conferences.

During these outreaches,  country lights clubs are established in various Schools with the purpose of Talent development and life skills empowerment.

Being Country Lights is a Christian Non Government Organization, evangelism is also carried out in these outreaches and many young people have given their lives to Christ.
