At Country Lights, we firmly believe that evangelism is not merely a choice but a divine mandate, a solemn duty bestowed upon all believers. Our mission revolves around spreading the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, reaching out to non-believers, and embracing the lost souls into His divine embrace.

We extend our hands to the poor, visit those imprisoned, care for the sick, and uplift the downtrodden through heartfelt prayers.

Our ministry manifests through various avenues, including Street Evangelism, Prison Evangelism, School and College Evangelism, Community Door-to-Door Evangelism, and Rural Evangelism. These endeavors are rooted in three core principles that define our spiritual path.

A Divine Mandate

For us at Country Lights, evangelism is not a mere choice; it is a sacred obligation. Just as Jesus commanded His disciples, as recounted in the Gospel of Matthew 28:16-20:

“Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw Him, they worshipped Him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, ‘All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.'”

This divine command echoes through the ages and forms the foundation of our evangelistic efforts, as we strive to fulfill His calling.

At Country Lights, we follow the path illuminated by the Apostle Paul, who considered evangelism not as a task but as his very way of life. Just as he declared in Philippians 1:21:

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

In the footsteps of Apostle Paul, we endeavor to make Jesus famous through our daily lives and actions, spreading His gospel wherever we tread. Evangelism is not an occasional endeavor; it is ingrained in our existence.

Self-Denial and Service

Country Lights Uganda exemplifies self-denial through its wholehearted dedication to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. We willingly traverse remote areas to reach the souls in need and assist the vulnerable. Our commitment extends to even the most challenging environments, including Muslim communities, where we courageously share the good news, guided by the words of John 9:4:

“I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh when no man can work.”
