Welcome to the School Outreach Department of Country Lights Ministries in Uganda, where we are dedicated to nurturing the potential of young minds, empowering the youth, and fostering awareness about the critical issue of HIV/AIDS. As a Christian Non-Government Organization, we also embrace the opportunity to share the message of faith and salvation with the young people of Uganda.

Our Mission:

At the heart of our mission lies a profound commitment to the youth of Uganda. Our School Outreach Department is tirelessly devoted to:

1. Capacity Building: We believe in equipping young minds with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in life. Through a variety of educational initiatives, we aim to empower the youth to reach their full potential.
2. Youth Empowerment: Our programs are designed to instill a sense of confidence, purpose, and leadership among the youth. We provide them with the tools they need to make a positive impact on their communities and society as a whole.
3. HIV/AIDS Awareness: Recognizing the importance of addressing the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Uganda, we actively engage in awareness campaigns, educational workshops, and discussions to ensure that young people are informed and equipped to protect themselves and others.

Our Outreach Activities:

To achieve our mission, we employ a multifaceted approach, engaging with young people through a variety of activities:

• Workshops: Our workshops are interactive and informative, covering a range of topics including life skills, career development, and personal growth.
• Debates: Encouraging critical thinking and constructive dialogue, our debates stimulate intellectual growth and the development of effective communication skills.
• Seminars: We organize seminars on relevant issues, providing a platform for experts to share valuable insights and knowledge with the youth.
• Conferences: Our conferences bring together young people from different backgrounds to network, learn, and inspire one another.

Country Lights Clubs:

In our pursuit of nurturing talent and fostering life skills, we establish Country Lights Clubs in various schools. These clubs serve as hubs for talent development and empowerment, offering a supportive environment for young individuals to discover and nurture their unique gifts and abilities.

As a Christian organization, we embrace the opportunity to share the message of faith and salvation during our outreach activities. We believe in the transformative power of the Gospel, and we are humbled to witness many young people giving their lives to Christ through our efforts.

What We Do

 

 

 

Country Lights Uganda works to  inspire, rescue and empower vulnerable children and youth through Educational provision, Life skills and Talent Development to become self-sustaining and Effective Leaders.

Country Lights started in 2007 as a dance crew and singing group whose activities were basically limited to pop and cultural dancing and singing country music. In 2010, by God’s divine favor and grace, the dance groups started up a children ministry were children are motivated to serve God using their talents, Educational provision and grooming them spiritually through God’s word.

Currently Country Lights Uganda is a non-profit organization that is registered under a number 10347, and it works towards inspiring, rescuing and empowering vulnerable children and youth through life skills, Education opportunities and talent development in Uganda. Our team is comprised of people with diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
